Beside the project 'Crossing the border' Mijke has made other art in multiple disciplines. This work is not related to each other and therefore grouped by paintings, photos, videos, sculptures and poems.
Furthermore Mijke works together with the artist Roos van Ingen Schenau. They use the artist name 'Jeanne et Jules' for their work which can be seen at www.jeanne-et-jules.nl. Jeanne et Jules make a statement about prejudgements people have. They want to make people think twice about their work. Is it just the opinion and a statement of the artists or is it your prejudgement about what you see in their work?
Mijke has also act in the video 'Exit' by Corrine Bot which had it's premiere at the International Rotterdam Film Festival in 2009 and had a second screening at the Dutch Film Festival 2009.
